C240 Throttle Body bad???
Engine will only rev high if I very slowly press gas. If I give it a normal acceleration press (like from a stoplight) then it will sputter out quickly. I've tried disconnecting the MAF to see if there are any changes, but no. There was one time I started the car to troubleshoot it and the car had no response at all from the gas pedal.
The TPS code popping up is P0220 or P0221, I think. Something to do with TPS circuit B. I've tried replacing the gas pedal sensor with a new dealer part but that didn't help. I guess the only other cause I can find from searching this forum is a bad throttle body.
If I take a chance and buy a used throttle body from ebay, can I program it myself with the ECU throttle reset key protocol? or is this something I have to take to the dealer?

You don't absolutely have to reset the TB if u replace it. It will work if u don't but does need an SDS to synch it properly.
