C Coupe In Bay Area?
Could we have a head count as to how many coupes are there around San Francisco/ Bay Area? Please list your car details too!!

I don't see too many around. Which is surprizing since when I was buying mine on 3/2/2 the dealer (Smythe European in San Jose) had over 30 in stock and they were running promos (such as $319/month lease) on the radio. I had no trouble getting mine for 1000 over invoice. No wait, too ;-)
However, I wanted power leather seats and the only C1+C5 combination happened to be with auto transmission which turned out to be even better since C230 is my wife's primary car.

I have 3 in my oakland apartment complex, my is white, 2 others black. I saw 2 other ones in east bay. I am in city sometimes, never saw one which is really weird.
I did see 2 X-type in East Bay, I was really struggling between this one and the X-type.

C230 Coupe
I just ordered a coupe on Friday (right now I'm driving a '67 modified Mustang
a car that I'll keep forever), however, I saw two Orion C230s while driving into the city last night (one on the bay bridge) and I always see a silver C230 around campus in Berkeley.

not too many as of yet!!
I have seen only a hand full ....although with an artical I read their will be 12,000-18,000 made this year comparing 1-2hundred thousand toyata/acura coupes.But here in the bay area havent seen many.
Mine comes tommorrow...!! It is 230 C Coupe Black w/Black leather, C5-C7-CD-BlueSills,6speed!!!!! yvette
P.S. I bought it from Mark Watchner at Smythe Europen in San Jose because he gave me a great price, great service and not rude as I found some dealers were. Expecially when you ask for a better price! He is on top of things, honest ...I could'nt recommend him any higher..Say.. Yvette sent you. I shoped all over and I mean all over....He's got the best price and service...oh yes...class is not money as we all know...alot of sales people should learn this...because us little people will be perhaps the bigger clients some day ...I'll remember who treated me well!!!Sincerely..

I woulda gone to benzomonterey's gtg on saturday but I was out of town. Maybe when the weather gets better, and preferably somewhere closer to home?
Berkeley hills comes to mind, driving around tilden park, or maybe a drive from baker beach, down highway 1 to half moon bay?

My sales consultant was Sam Chao there at Smythe and I had quite positive experience as well.
This car is actually my wife's and she was especially impressed with nice bucket of roses she got two days later ;-)
She had to stop at dealer's a week following the purchase to fix driver seat hight adjustment that did not work from the beginning and problem was solved quickly while she waited (the wire was loose). So far that was our only issue after two weeks and 1370 miles.

Geezzz, for two buckets of roses, I would have bought my car in San Jose. I did not even get a thank you note, although I did pay only $450 over invoice.

Speaking of services, I hate the Oakland Mercedes Service. Small waiting room, bad service... Is the San Francisco one better? Any opinions? If so, I might take my car there from now on.
For my car, I got a free car key ring (mercedez), even though the freaking mercedez sign has already broken off. yes, only 5 months and the screw snap in half. And a car cover which I sold online.

San Francisco is service is OK, it's two blocks away from where I work, so that works for me -- no loaner cars though.
I have had to take my car in a few times for the same thing, don't know if it's the car or them. I work with a service manager named Frank and he is great. Would recommend him.
I think that other people have bad things to say about SF Benz. I would think if your in the East Bay, you might try Fremont or Pleasenton.
