More HP with Davies Craig Electric Water Pump (EWP) & Electric Booster Pump (EBP)
Any horsepower liberation from the crank pulley and to the wheels from these products ?
http://www.daviescraig.com.au/
I would imagine that these would benefit engines with a separate belt driving the water pump ie. remove the water pump / belt and put in one of the EWP. The M111 and M271 engine has the same belt driving the supercharger / alternator / waterpump ?
How about those who underdrive the waterpump pulley to get more hp ? > wouldn't the EBP provide a "fail-safe" to ensure sufficient water cooling for our supercharged engine ?
Lastly anyone with experience with these products ?
Thanks.

Water pump for cooling is mechanical, and no, you won't gain a bunch of power by switching to electric. The alternator has to work harder to supply power for the electric pump and it takes HP to drive that to. If anything it is likey to be less efficient.
