W203 C320 Wagon Glove Box
My glove box light burnt and I had a heck of a time getting it out (found one of the clips was bent and stopping it from coming out). Anyway, while I was pulling the light out, the switch rocker piece fell out and now I have no idea how to get it back in. I am thinking I have to remove the whole glove box to re-mount it but not sure. Do I have to and if I do, any instructions on how to remove the glove box? -Thanks-

Thank you so much for doing this. I'll try to explain...there is a black, plastic 'arm' that appears to be attached to the glove-box itself. This piece switched the light on/off by moving a contact on the light. This black piece came out when I was removing the light to replace the bulb. - Thanks again!-

In order to remove the glove box, you need to remove entire center console + radio/navi + cover above it - a massive job.
Here is a pic of EPC, these are the parts I think can be replaced but I'm not sure if it helps you at all.

Thank you for the information.
I have attached two pictures that I think will explain what I am talking about. The black rocker switch (for lack of better terminology) popped out when I removed the light and I have no idea where it goes or how to put it back. I do know that a small portion sticks out of the top of the interior of the glove box and moves the long metal contact from making a circuit to not.
I can't find a place for it to be attached to the light itself, so I am assuming it attaches to the glove box somehow.
Hope I am explaining this correctly...
-Thanks-

No solution I',m afraid. I know the only way to fix it is to remove the right side dash and glove box, but I haven't the time to tackle a project like this right now. I will have to soon though as an actuator arm on that side just started to sing. Got to love these Mercedes...
