Hiccup On Cold Start
Lately when I turn the car on in the early morning and its cold (for Miami weather) about 72 degrees F the car hiccups on cold start as if it has no fuel but then idles immediately smooth right away a second into the start. If I turn it off immediately and turn it back on it does not do this. It does not do this anymore throughout the day.
The car has 115k miles, spark plugs were changed recently, fuel filter at 70k miles, air filter has a year on it. Timing chain has been changed as well together with the tensioner. Before it had been doing this every now and then.
I should add that this car does not have any idling problems or hesitation problems when running. Also I have always used techron cleaner religiously 3 times between oil changes usually. Gas used is 93 octane and always chevron fuel.
The fuel light has been on meaning I am low on fuel lately in the mornings could this be contributing?

this happened to me for a while but then it never did it again, i was told to check the battery since the car uses the battery for start ups then runs on alternator, so it could be the battery.

Interesting, I think my battery is reading good at the moment. Tomorrow will be what we consider cold here and I have her with half a tank so this should be a better measurement to see if its related to fuel level in my case.
