C230 Timing Chain
I think the timing chain is the problem with my c230. It cranks over like no compression. It was running when I cut it off and this no start only happened. I have been setting a p0340 code that won't clear, when it was running.I read there is an article by Hogger that is a good description of the article. Could someone point me out to that article? I may have other questions when I get to read that article. Thanks!

texczech,
Welcome to MBWorld! Let us know if the issue does end up being the timing chain. Lots of good reading suggested by VVF! I don't have specific timing chain replacement instructions but I can guide you through the portion when replacing the tensioner, W203 Timing Chain Tensioner Replacement.
Let me know if you have any specific parts needs for this project or you can shop our extensive Mercedes parts catalog here.
Keep us posted on your issue!
