Is there any way to get a mat like the one MBenzNL provides but in the standard colour of the stock mats I have?
I have the 2005 C230K SS with black interior and I want a floor mat with a foot rest and BOTH the colour and the design to match my current set.

I remember reading something about the evolution package floormats having that. it's a optional package for foreign models. I heard Canadian models had that along with Euro models.

I know in Europe they have the floormats I want. Maybe the next time I travel overseas, I should acquire one and bring them back to the states? That's pretty big for the luggage though.

If you don't mind my asking, but what was the damage for this set of floormats with shipping?
Beautiful floormats again, I love the weave. I wonder if we can get Persian Rugs in the car.

I think the rugs are wool, you just can't make them from Persians any more.

Nice! ::thumbsup:: I dunno about the whole folding mirrors idea htough... I figure if you are parking in a spot/location that needs you to fold your mirrors, isnt it gonna be really hard to get out? Or you are gonna park so close to someone who's gonna open their door into your car :\ they are useful regardless...
Whats that thing next to your CD changer?
Is that something that holds CDs? Ive seen things like that that hold tapes, in the older w202.... Whered ya get it? Is it a factory option? whats it called?![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

ps: edit: can you drive w/ the mirrors folded?

Someone in my family I know needs folding mirrors, she almost tore them off on the way out of the garage. She's already rubbed the bumper with the wall.
Very nice mod. I think it will be especially useful in those tighter parking situations down in LA. What I think is most interesting is how it would look when the lights flash three times upon locking from such a different angle.
