I know this because I have the exact same tires with C32 AMG Wheels. These tires prevents me setting the Tein CO at the lowest settings in the front.

NICE job.
i dunno the settings but the front tires did rub the springs.
alternative was to raise the front little bit... but i decided and put on 2mm spacers... hmm, never realized a tire brand will make a difference...

Yea, some tire brand are wider than others. When i switched from Michelin Sport to these Yokahama, i had to make three full counter clockwise rotation ( 1/4 to 1/3 inch increase in height) to prevent it from hitting the CO.

I bought some H&R 5 mm spacers, but it caused vibration to the steering wheel. Hopefully you won't run into any problems with those 2 mm spacers.

There is no way to know until you do it. Not all coilovers and wheels are the same. Different coilovers have different struts and springs. Different wheels have different offsets. Different tires have different shaped sidwalls. All of this goes into determining fitment and potential issues. The only thing you can do is add spacers once you determine if you're rubbing. I suggest you do the research first before deciding on a coilover setup.

Glad it worked out, mj. Replied on the other forum too, but thought I'd reply here also. PM me and let me know how your experience was.

NICE! I bet the ride is OK too since you only have 17's. BTW, did you hear any noises/sounds after the installation? It's just I have this weird knocking sound after my Tein CO was installed and my shop cannot find where the sound comes from. Anyway, Enjoyyyy!

i did hear kinda like humming noise from the front right when i first drove it after the install... put 2mm spacers on the front and now it's ok.

I actually want to lower the fronts a little more, but I don't want to use spacers to avoid vibration. It's enough vibration for me from the spacers I have for the rears. Also, my rears are already at the lowest, but it's not even low. Still have 1 1/2 finger gaps on the rear, so it's pretty much 1 1/2 finger gaps all around in my car. Do you still use your spring pads on the rear?

You can simply check my removing your front wheels. I'm sure your back is set at the lowest setting. However, the front i believe you have another inch to go.

Something is definitely not right. There should be no gap in the rear at the lowest setting, with the tread of the tire tucked in the fender (check the pic in my signature). Maybe you're confused and it's actually at the highest setting instead? No spring pads should be used with coilovers.

Spring pads should have been removed in the rear.

Blake/Drex : I did ask the installer regarding the spring pads and he told me
spring pads are needed, so that no noises/sounds will be
produced by the suspension. Is that right? In fact, I do have
this knocking sound with the pads still in the car. Perhaps, I am
not supposed to use them and the the knocking sound will be
gone . Any idea?

I am 100% positive you should have no pads, so the installer is full of it. Once the spring pads are removed you will have the desired drop and the knocking will be replaced by the sweet sound of women "oooh"ing and "aaah"ing.

Thanks Blake LOL. I will see if I can have the pads removed ASAP.
