JimB,

I like that as well. Who makes it? Bolt-on or weld? Any other modifications you had to do to make it fit?

Thanks,
mike

A bit crooked from the side. Can you lower the muffler?

Mike

That piece is the OEM tip from '04 sport sedan, You had to cut the OEM twin pipe about an inch to make it fit then have the exhaust shop spot weld it to your satisfation If you don't cut the tip of OEM pipe the exhaust will be restricted.

Oggle, you are correct its a bit pointing down on the side, but that is the max I can do, not to touch the bumper to avoid melting the plastic bumper. I'm happy the way it looks on the back

I wish they make a "Dead Pedal" to match the 04.5 pedals. Looks great!

Do you have to drill a hole into the pre-existing pedals?

Also, are there any functional differences or is it just purely cosmetic?

oggle,

yes, u have to drill a hole.
i can't really tell if there are any improvement besides the look... but the dead pedal certainly feels better.

I love those, do you know if you can get for a manual shift car, or is it auto only.

looks nice!
they are not real AMG, some chinese knockoffs, but they look damn good I opted for the OEM round rubber pedals and ebrake cover. I hope they produce a deadpedal soon, or i might have to clash and get the generic one.

oem ones slip over perfectly like the oem non al pedals.

When you get those egt's up you will melt your bumper cover and get plastic all over the tips Also remember the tips will expand when heated up so they will move even closer to the bumper cover.

mj50, tips look good, but why in the world do you have an AMG badge on the car?

Since it's already welded on, do you guys have any recommendations about what I can do now? I was thinking about maybe sanding a nice small area of the bumper around the tip and adding a bit of touch up paint, since it's not really an "area of focus" on the car so close to the ground and all.

Pardon me for asking but where exactly do you have to drill any holes?
Also, I'm curious on people's opinions.
C7 stock sport pedals, or these?
I like the deadpedal for sure.

Looks like the ebrake cover is a slip on (and quite slippery, too - don't like that it doesn't have any rubber on it). As for the others, you can see where the bolts are - you make corresponding holes on the pedals.

Though the price is much more, I'd get the Brabus pedals still - these look fairly cheesy, imho.

Take it to any good exhaust shop, and they can heat the hanger so they can bend it down for you. takes 1 minute to do it.

It can not be bend down because it is welded to the pipe and muffler,

Blake what you can do is unweld it and reposition the tip, or make the bumper cut out bigger

I'll probably just make the bumper cut out a little bigger.
