Out Of Control!!
A word of warning to you future Optima owners:
If you drain it, for whatever reason, do not do a normal jump on it. It needs to be slowly recharged. I learned the hard way.

according to frank, autozone has 75/25 so it should work...
Yeah. I went to auto zone the other day when my battery was at 9V and drained somehow. They said that they didn't have 75/35, so I didn't buy it.Originally Posted by MJ50

Have a yellow top in the crx. Went into winter storage, yes, I disconnected it, but wasn't fully charged in the spring. Had sis do a jumpstart, and battery would not keep the charge. Autozone will do trickle charge for free.

That's the only way I found out about Optima batteries. I think it took 1 day or something like that. Auto zone too.

Okay so before MJ goes on to put this on after painting of the bumper...just want to say that I did the "heatgun mod" to the right side lining, right where the bulge is to bring it back a bit farther into the bumper - hopefully this time it will help in NOT having that piece rip off after a week or so. This is apparently a very common symptom for lowered W203s... so common that they stock about 20 of both the left and the right sides.
Anyway, road testing tomorrow, but it seems the extra mms will help.
ALSO please note, be lucky none of you have a BOLTED-ON fabricated lip... I had to adjust the foglights today while stubbornly telling myself that I didn't want to uninstall the lip to do so. Yeah, it took me forever and had to position myself under the car and get my left arm wedged between panels (no blood circulation for at least a minute) to hand-tighten the screws, especially driver's side. It was not a fun time :p.
