just picked up the bumper from the body shop today...
looks as good as new...
install day scheduled for wednesday...

Good paint job MJ. Don't put the tags on. If you get pulled over say you have to wait for your paint to completely cure before you can put it on or you're waiting for them to order you a license plate bracket... lol...
MJ, I'm thinking of putting 20's on my ML finally. Whate the best tire and rim set up? 20x9.5 right? what tire size?

yeah, i'm running 20x9.5 all around with 295/45R20 tires...
tires are yokohama parada spec-x...

Good luck giving that excuse to the cop and actually getting away with it. In Cali, that's one of their favorite tickets to give away when they can. I got one from a parking attendant, but good thing it wasn't a fix-it ticket. Just pay.

I can tell you from personal experience, I've gotten 6 since I started driving 14 years ago! 3 w/ my mx-6, 1 w/ benzo (fix-it) and 2 from a parking attendant (w/ the Benzo Pay only).
In Beverly Hills (which I drive through 5 days a week due to work commute), they are pretty damn strict. I remember 5 days after I got my plates, I put on the rear plate, but not the front because I was going to get personalized plates anyway. Sure enough, cop pulls me over and was actually apologetic because it was 530am and I was on my way to Physical Therapy for my knee. He even commented on how clean and nice my car looked, but he had to give away these tickets because of the stoplight cameras in Beverly Hills.

Nope. Always been mandatory in Cali. A lot of people just choose not to put them on.

Saltiness - I followed a charger police officer home from work ~4 miles and into the Santa Anita mall making the EXACT same turns. He had mad opportunities to take me down for no front plates....but they're a bit calmer around Pasadena I suppose =). Your ish is just more bling with the colormatched 19s!
Plus, you look too much like a good boy that wouldn't cause any trouble.
