I have a 2004 c320 with 135000 miles. No major problems with the car but I will soon be taking the car from Dallas to Miami (new job) and I am concerned that the car might give me some issues. What can I do to help the car have a smooth drive to florida? Should I take it to the dealership and have them look over it? Do they offer any packages to where they look over the entire performance of the car? Thanks in advance.

If you never changed the plugs and wires on it now is a good time. Change the oil and check the tranny oil too. You should take every precaution because you dont want to break down in the middle of nowhere.

In addition, check tire pressure. Check serpentine belt for wear and check belt tension. Make sure you have snacks that don't leave crumbs - cheese, carrots, dried fruit with plenty of diaper wipes. Have a good selection of music (oh, and take your diabetes medicine so you don't have to pee every 2 hours).
