Fueling problem
Gents
I have asked this question before but no one has really answered the question. I have been told that it is the charcoal canister filter. however I have checked this, Mine is the UK version and has a free to atmosphere vent on the top does not have Y58/4 and on the bottom two lines the central one to the fuel tank vent and an offset one to the purge valve. the one to the fuel tank when you blow into it there is a gurgling noise from the tank, the other there is resistance which should be normal as with the ignition off the purge valve would be closed.
Does anyone know of other checks that I can do to get to the bottom of this problem, I have a 2000 mile journey thru Europe at the end of the week and do not fancy standing around filling the car at -15
