2002 C240 Belt Tensioner Pulley Help
How do I know if it's the pulley or the whole assembly? The pulley moves back and forth quite a bit..I started to gear a slight noise but started to increase until it threw the belt and broke it..All the pulleys are moving freely so nothing is froze and I'm 99% sure it's the pulley or assembly but don't know which one exactly..Any help would be greatly appreciated. .Thanks in advance. .

Either way, replace the whole unit.
Are you certain it's the tensioner? Check the idler pully as well. Those love to seize.
