What's involved in Service A?
I'm curious what's involved in Service A for our C-Class's? I know changing the oil, and topping off fluids is included, but do they also inspect the vehicle as well, like testing the motor, alignment etc..I'm still 6,000 miles away from it

For me, service A (I do the same for B), involves me calling my dealer and letting them know when I want the service to be done. They ask me if I want a Loaner MB or a Ride home. I need to make that choice.
When the big day comes I stroll into the shop, meet my friendly SA, and head to the customer waiting area for some free food and drinks. I either get a car or go into the limo and eventually pick-up my car when they give me a call and tell me it's ready. I again feast on the free food and drinks before saying my "goodbyes".
Thats whats involved on my end for my services, and I love it.

You guys get food??? How ripped off do I feel. Lets see we get filtered water from the dispenser or coffee from the machine. If your lucky they might get a mechanic to drop you off to the office in one of the cars they are service testing.

Thats not all that bad. Back in the '80s an oil change from the dealer cost us over $100.
Service only comes up every 10,000 miles so technically once a year...$200 then $400 every other year is nothing as far as the car is concerned.
