So i recently changed my fuel pump and pressure sensor sending unit thing-a-ma-jigs on the 2002 c240 I have and i got a code popping up...p0453.

Here are some other things I have noticed:
1. Code p0453
2. Gas smell in garage, not horrible but noticeable
3. Gas guage goes up a fee needle widths after a few minutes of running the car.

Anyone got any ideas?

Did you replace the pump? If so check all connections. if you did not return the the place that did to have them check all connections.

I did it myself and yes, the pump was replaced.
