Used Mercedes for sale at dealer and credit union question
I'm looking to buy a car in another state. My local credit union will not finance cars out of state. They instead said I have the the ability to pay for the car with cash and then when I registrar it in California, bring it to them to finance. The rate would be the equivalent to their used car rates. Does that sound right?

I'm in Florida and bought my Benz from Ohio. I went to my credit union and told them the price of the car I wanted, they then called the dealer to confirm, and the bank itself sent them the payment once all the paperwork was signed. Easy.
The above, was the second loan I had from the credit union. The first time, all I had to do was tell them how much money I needed and they gave me a draft/check after they checked if I qualified. However, it was an In-state car purchase.
