Just wondering....When do you all change oil?
Point of topic: The C230K is a cast block. Because of this, MB ships it with a blended "break in oil". I changed mine at 1000 miles, then again at 5,000 and I'll change at 5,000 mile intervals until I sell or trade it. So answer away...share your wisdom and prose!

I changed it at 1500 miles, at 5000 miles, myself.
I'll let the dealer change it at 10,000.
I'll do it at 15,000.
They'll do at 20,000.
I'll do at 25,000. Etc.
If I followed the FSS, the original oil will be in the crankcase for approx. 18 months. That is crazy, synthetic or not.
