2006 C230 IPOD/ aux help.
Hello.
I purchased a used 2006 C230 and in the glove box I found a Ipod 30 pin connector attached to a cable running out the side of the box. It was the Mercedes dealer who installed it many years ago. I was wondering if it would be possible to modify the ipod connector and make it a AUX jack? Perhaps by using a 30 pin female connector and a 3.5mm male jack on the other end of the cable I could plug something useful into this (Mp3 player, Bluetooth receiver, etc)?
Any thoughts or help?

If the i pod wire goes down the back to the left side of glove into the scuff plate under the front door i belive but not 100% sure the aux socket is there and you can unplug and get the aux adapter to replace it only know this through reading other threads and trying to work out what i can replace my audio becker 10 cd sterio old 2003 with to fit aux hope this helps...... another option is to unplug the cd changer and replace with aux lead but then you cant play cds both leads are sold on ebay.. hope you get it sorted😆
