Sorry the site is Tax Disk

Erik its a tax disc holder in the uk we have to display a vaild road tax disc, i belive its the same as you guys but you change number plates i think

Still not 100% sure what a tax disc is, but we don't use it in the US, however it is sort of cool looking...I might get a Ferrari one for my house...thanks.

Tax disc holder:

It is displayed in the front windscreen of your car by law, normaly on the left hand side bottom corner, this is a road fund licence we have it by law to be on the road, it is for road maintance etc, u guys have tolls we have road tax disc, its about £150 a year

Generic road taxes are part of our registration or fuel charges here in the US. A Toll generally goes to the road you paid the toll to use.

Ahh, makes sense to me. So is it illegal to not have a Tax Disc while you drive? {Obviously not in the US}

Yeha its illegal no tax = no insurance = loads of trouble, they have a database so u get fine straight away if u got no tax etc
