So I purchased my 2004 C230 with a remote that doesnt have the logo and it is annoying me! I know its something super minor but was wondering if anyone knew the part number, I know i found it once online but haven't been able to retrace my steps in finding it again. I was thinking of replacing the shell but didn't want to risk damaging any of the internal components so figured a new star would be more convenient lol. Attached is a picture of the fob that I have since I know there are different variants of it. Thanks!!!

If you're paranoid about swapping shells, those really are your only options. I'm assuming you only got the one key when you bought it. Too bad they hosed you on that. Though I'm sure they discounted the price to you because of it.
