What Part is This? Part # Please?

So when I was at the tire shop getting my summer rims and tires swapped back on I noticed that I was missing a rubber mud guard part on the driver's side rear wheel. It must have fallen off at some point during the winter because I'm sure I never saw that gap before.

I Googled mud guards and mud flaps but only the aftermarket ones are showing up and those are the ones that go behind the wheel not in front of it. Could someone tell me the part name and number please? Pictures will be attached to the post. You'll notice in the first picture that the rubber piece in front of the wheel is attached but in the second the picture, which is the left side of the car, the piece is missing.

On your car, *should* be:
A203-698-23-54 (paneling - driver-left side) about $15-20

Look like you'll also need A124-990-04-92 (expansion rivet) for about $2-3 but it looks like it was ripped out of plastic side skirt / wheel well (star shaped damage) so not sure if it'll actually reattach properly unless you fix/replace those parts first. As I recall, there's another expansion rivet or bolt on bottom of that paneling to plastic side skirt so you should check if that's ok - my guess is it got ripped off as well.

At the end of the day, that missing piece does divert water from wheel well away from bottom of car and you should patch up that hole to keep water away from metal rocker panel that's covered by plastic side skirt - protect it from rust.

Thanks. I'll look into it immediately. I wonder how the heck that came off. Perhaps I should superglue some sort of plastic to the supposedly broken area to cover the hole then look into purchasing the rubber piece. The car is rust free ATM and I sure as heck don't want it to become rusty though that entire bottom trim is just plastic. Either way that rubber piece definitely serves a purpose of some sort so I'll patch it up.

How did your car hold up during our lovely winter?

Read my post #6 on tommy's recent thread about checking for rust the metal rocker panel hidden under the plastic side skirt. Also clear out all the mud inside your plastic side skirt!

A short cut test would be to check under your door sills,... if there's even traces of rust there,... then there's likely some along the metal rocker panels as well.

Since I'm doing some work on that part of the car as well, on that rubber-plastic panel from in front of the rear wheel - there's 2 attachment points, one is expansion rivet from wheel well and other is wide expansion screw from underneath plastic side skirt.

You might have lost yours driving in the snow as snow and ice accumulate in rear wheel well,... and a bump ripped off a chunk of ice along with that part.

Yeah next weekend I'll look into inspecting the insides of the skirt. First I think I'll hook up a small hose to my shop vac and tape it on to the suction part and try to suck out as much junk that's built up within that hole if there is any. I might have to drill some holes as you said but I'll make sure I get some proper rubber plugs to plug the holes after the fact. I'll also get another rubber piece and I might have to superglue a part of it. I should probably find an adhesive that's safe on both plastic and rubber.
