Mercedes-Benz C180 W203 2001 ECU Complite kit
Hello
Hi My name is Bert, i bought W203 C180 2001 manual a year a go, the car owner before me changed ECU, steering lock and configured the key with the replacement ECU and steering lock, seance then the car did not function properly it stored too many faults some times the accelerator pedal wont work some times it's cuts the engine and so on.......now i have decided to replace all the system again ESU, EIS, Steering lock and key (Complete kit) from the exact model of the car.
Is there anything else that i should be aware or look for to get the exact parts before i bought the parts, and also if anyone could help me where can i get them please ?

Yes the problems are now go away, the car is function properly,
but as you said i need the instrument cluster the mileage is not working now it display ( ------) is there any other way to fix it without replacing instrument cluster ?

All those parts are vin coded so since the IC is a different vin they won't talk. Only way to fix would be replacing the IC with one that has no miles on it (under 1000 or maybe 600) Since you bought the car with no working mileage and it is old just drive it till the wheels fall off and not worry about it. The cost to fix it properly will be at least $1000 USD plus labor and star machine time. Your other issue will be reprogramming all the other computers that store the mileage as it might not really be possible which means all new computers if you can't find someone shady/very knowledgeable to hack them.
