Just thought I'd start a thread showing off my progress. I bought my 2003 C220 CDI back in September 2014 and progress has been quite slow due to financial/time constraints but I'll get there eventually 😉
Here's a few pics from when I first bought the car
Not too many pictures of before/afters but I've done a few small mods ie
- LED sidelights
- Xenon headlight bulbs/fogs
- LED number plate bulbs
- De-badged
I also bought a full leather interior and door cards from an avantgarde model for just £200 from a local Mercedes breakers

Got a set of wheels cheap. A set of 18"x8.5 BBS LM R reps. They were in quite bad condition when I got them so they have since been refurbed by myself.

And yes it really did sit like that on those wheels and yes I realise now how terrible it looked 😢
Friend of mine recently bought a compressor and spray gun so thought we would have a go at spraying my car as the paint work was terrible. It was full of swirls, scratches etc and just generally looked dull and worn.
So I went and got the materials, which cost a whopping £60, and a weekend later I had a freshly painted car. Also means I had the chance to fix some dents, rust, etc. Delighted with it 😃
Please get new headlights, fog lights and mirror lights!!!! The new clear versions will make the car look so much better/newer.
Also check your passenger side fender looks like you need to adjust it.

For the headlights IDK as you have a right hand drive and I have only seen aftermarket LHD lights. That said I am sure a wrecking yard and places like that would have the updated 2005-2007 clear lights in your country. Ebay might also be a good source just make sure to find RHD parts lol.
As for the fog lights I don't believe they are any different so just pick up a set of clear Depos off ebay and the mirrors are even easier any MB parts place has them just need to get the PN's for the clear ones (here in the USA I think I paid under $25 a side.)
