still don't qualify tho they use a BASE of a Mercedes means that they modify it. There is a difference between Tuner and manufacturer you know. If Brabus is a car manufacturer and not a tuner company, they'd be designing their car from the ground up already instead of buying base cars from Mercedes. Brabus, Lorinser, and Carlsson are all TUNERS like AMG. Brabus don't just buy the shell, btw. They still have to get a base car with virtually no options from Mercedes-Benz and strip it down in order to modify it and fit it w/ Brabus's own stuff.

Bentley was a sister company of Rolls Royce it's a totally different story from the Brabus/MB relationship.

hope you'll get the idea.

And you would know this how? Sure the models they sell at sears suck, but they have a very good line of high po and performance all seasons. Just because its not priced like the better known brands, doesnt mean its "crappy". Its not polite to speak out of your A$$

I would also bet 95% of the people who buy high po tires couldnt truly evaluate and know the difference between a $200 S03 and $110 Falken Ziex. BTW, Falken also makes a great R compound tire, the Azenis.

they do get a car with engine in it and then transform it at their factory. i.e. seats are taken out to be re-upholstered and etc with other stuff. If you go to Brabus.de and look at their cars for sell the CV8 is stated as based on the C320, if they only bought a shell with no engine why would they bother mentioning "based on C320." Anywayz, they do sell the cars they modify under their own name and do have dealership through out Germany and Europe, and they do it at a somewhat large volumn.

here's a page that you would definitely love. http://www.brabus.de/fahrzeugangebote/geb_e.htm

i know cuz we sell falkens A LOT. youre probably gonna say.... why do you sell so many if they are crap... and my answer to that is cuz they are cheap and a lot of people are cheap when it comes to tires.
