The site above has one for $217.

Don't know about labor, depends where you take it and what else needs to be replaced besides the drier, evacuating/recharging the systems.

How do you know the compressor is bad?

It started making a rattling noise from the engine, so I took it to the mechanic he stated the compressor was no good. I need to replace the compressor and something else like a vent i think he said where air would flow through. I forgot the second part that i needed to replace also he said its about $100

If you want to drive without doing anything to it for a while you will need re-route your belt. It is super simple to do and you can find a belt at your local autoparts store. Usually a noise is due to a bad pulley bearing. You can save yourself a lot of time and money by investigating the bearing first.
THE LESS YOU DRIVE WITHOUT RE-ROUTING YOUR BELT THE MORE YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF.
when one pulley goes it starts to take others with it.

What HS---use a shorter belt--simply turn off the compressor and enjoy life!!(read your owners manual)
