Question REAR MUFFLER

Hey HUSTLUR,Let me know the status on the muffler for the c coupe as I would like to see the results also if you need a DYNO
for the PROOF let me know! So you will see the before and after and no BLUE SKY NUMBERS 4to8 hp is the norm for a rear muffler

Is your c coupe stick or auto?

Does your c coupe have C7

also my (WIFES) c coupe has H/R sport springs if you would like to check it out ....It has c7 17 inch wheels/tires

I do have the C7 package and it is Auto

KJ just let me know that H&R makes coil overs and I am checking those out as well - at $359 a set it's not a bad deal

I would like to see your wifes car if you can email any pics you might have.

MagnaFlow said that they are going to Dyno it after they are done and I have a buddy that works at GRC Performance and we are going to Dyno it there on our own as well.

Magna Flow's X Pipe Cat Back System works well on every other car and they are claiming it will do the same for the Benz

Hustlur

hey Hustlur i have H&R springs on My coupe and i can tell you one thing i bairly feel any difference in the ride than with the stock springs its not to stiff at all. but it definitly corners better there is alot less body roll. i have seen coil overes in a coupe but they were not H&R unless u really want to have your car dropped i would not get coil overs you will always have probloms with your cambers. especually if u are planing on changing the height alot.
but to me the H&R springs ride great. If u were to go with Eibach i dont know how much of a difference u can fell with them since mine feels bascily the same as the stock springs. and the Eibach will not lower it as much.

Sorry, I just checked, and I was wrong...H&R does NOT make coilovers for the C230K.

The price you saw is for SPRINGS only. They retail for $359, but sell for much less than that at most places.

Especially me too since I've been looking at a Brabus exhaust lately. If they can beat $1500 installed (possibly with discount later), and get good power, I'll definitely take a serious look at MagnaFlow.

$1500 is pretty crazy for a steel can! My Kleemann was $900 after tax and installation and I thought that was a bit steep. Unless you are buying the Brabus just for the name I think looking at other options would help you save some serious $$$$.

I have MagnaFlow muffler (not a cat back) on my car and it sounds quite good, deep, but i warn u it is a loud muffler, so if u don't like loud muffler stay away from it. It gave me headache for 3 days when i first install the muffler, after couple of months the muffler sounds smoother and even deeper, and seems that i'm used to it now

BFD. Many OEM exhausts are stainless. For the price, it had better be all stainless, same with the hardware.

For anyone north of Lynn, a regular steel muffler is going to be short lived.

Magnaflow does not sound that bad just don't remove the resonator. I had it on my old W202.

Check out the sound: http://s112.photobucket.com/albums/n...=magnaflow.flv

Magnaflow 14830:

. . . but I think i"ll get this instead - Magnaflow 14861:

I loved it! I just had a K&N filter, SI Tuned CPU and this exhaust set-up and you can defintely feel the increase in trottle response. I would do it again with my W203. I don't care what some of you think. I got what I wanted, Sound & Performance.

They are talking 18-20 additional HP with no other mods.
Yeah hustlur. Let me know also if it does become available. I just installed my remus exhuast and i can feel a difference. Maybe a couple of hp's but thats it. If your hp increases this great then thats a big WOW. Post the dyno also please.
