outside air temperature sensor. Is it PT100?

outside air temperature sensor. Is it PT100?
I have a c200, w203 year 2005. Change the outside air temperature sensor but the reading stays at -40 degrees celcius. Does anyone know if this sensor is PT100 or PT1000 because this is not a thermocouple sensor. I checked the resistance of the assumed faulty sensor which is 1500 ohms and goes to 2500 ohms and there is a rapid change.
