I've got a 2006 6 speed C230 Sport and can heel & toe in the car but it is far from second nature. Due to the pedal configuration, I find myself having to place my foot high on the brake to be able to get my heel onto the throttle; this is the best solution I've found thus far with the factory configuration after trying different foot positions (It doesn't help that the car has that delayed throttle response either). Are there any suggestions on the availability of a good gas pedal replacement or extension to help with this?

Never heard of a replacement gas pedal besides just putting the sport/AMG pedals on which you probably already have.
Sadly I doubt any company makes a fix for your complaint.

Check out ultimate pedals. I had them on my car for years, and you can install them in a way that would bring the gas pedal closer.

Not really trying to fish for business, but mine will be for sale soon in my garage sale thread here, and would certainly be cheap, if you want to buy something for a reasonable amount of cabbage just to try it.
