Pioneer DEH-X6700BT with 2004 Benz C230K
I am hoping to replace my radio head unit with the Pioneer DEH-X6700BT. I have looked at crutchfield and it says this is the only one compatible with my car. However, I have read that I also need to purchase additional wire harnesses, antenna harnesses, and steering wheel control boxes. Can someone please assist me in confirming if all of this is needed? I thought crutchfield fit meant that I do not need to get anything in addition. I was hoping to plug and play if that is possible.
Any help is appreciated.

I am running an older model Z120bt and yes to all your questions. Crutchfield usually includes the installation kit at check out.
since you are buying a pieoneer go to PAC electronics and do a look up on the steering wheel adapter that works with pioneer HU's.

I would recommend the Metra steering wheel control module instead of the PAC. The PAC requires 2 modules (the SWC and a CAN). The Metra unit has built in CAN, so it will cost half as much. It's also very easy to program.
I think just about any aftermarket head unit will work. I installed a Kenwood DNX9990HD on my '02 C320. Works without a hitch.
