2001 C240 SPORT or 2004 C230 SPORT?

I have a 2001 C240 Sport Edition, and I'm trying to decide if I should trade it in for the 2004 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan.

Things I want on new '04 C230 vs. what I have on my '01 C240
- Bi-Xenon lights vs. Regular halogen
- Sun roof and sun shade vs. nothing
- White interior vs. black interior
- Automatic transmission vs. 6 speed
- new warranty vs. extended warranty till '05

Dealer offered $18,000 for my C240, and they wanted $31,000 for the lighting package and the automatic transmission. Is that good.

Let me know what you guys think I should do! Is it worth it to pay that much more for the things I want?

you want a white interior? good luck keeping that clean....!!
I'd stick with black...looks much sportier (IMO) and easier to maintain.

Honestly, I don't see much of a need to upgrade, especially when they're so close anyway. $13k could be used in so many better ways.

Now, if you were going to a different level within MB (E, CLK, etc.), or another marque, it would be more easily rationalized to me.

I agree with my fellow forum member here. Big difference in price and you are still going to stay in the same class?!!? No way. If you do go E or CLK. If you really are itching to waste that money then MOD IT UP!!!!

Somehow, that's not very comforting.
