I’d focus on making sure it runs really well and looks good. Clean it up, make sure everything works and it will sell for a good price.

My DD is a 2011 C300 but I just bought a 2005 C240 4matic for my daughter replacing a 1999 C230 that died a violent death.
I am very curious about this violent death. Four days before you posted this reply (3-20-2019 @ 504pm), my 2012 C250 was murdered by a woman running a red light and claims she had a yellow light. She hasnt responded to the lawsuit I have filed against her and her insurance. My lawyer said i may never recover anything except a default judgement against her that she will never pay. I only had that car 29 days and didnt even make the first payment on the loan. I loved that car. Well that one along with the other 10 I previously owned. Ive had 3 2005 C230 Sport Sedans and they are my favorites. Two C320s, one wagon and one sedan (2002 C320 wagon hands down my #1), two ML320s, two E320 wagons and one E430 sedan.

The book value price is the book value price with these old W203's. That is just the way it is. Good thing is you can can one cheap as dirt and mod the hell out of it and have a nice little car for the money. I sold my 2005 C240 4Matic with 300k miles on it for $2,000. A solid 9/10 with one small 1/4 rust spot. Over all car with TONS of OEM mods. Wood Steering wheel, Xenons, Apple aux cord, Navigation, reverse camera, sport gauges the works! Even had it washed and waxed before the guy came to look at it. $2,000 is all I was able to get for it. Even if the car had 1/3 of the miles the price would not be all that much. That is just the way it is.

Well said.

I've added a few mods to my car over my two years of ownership - mostly items that I have sourced from part-outs, junk yards, Craigslist and eBay. I don't think it will make the car more valuable if I sell it, but that is not my goal. I've enjoyed the "treasure hunt" for parts and the work of upgrading the car. I've also enjoyed driving the car for the 2.5 years and 40,000 miles I've owned it. My total cost is likely less than a year's depreciation on a new C Class.

Although some cars appreciate or become hot on the collector market, that is a relatively rare occurrence. Most cars are a depreciating asset. Take care of them and don't abuse them, but don't expect them to provide a positive return on investment.

That was the fun part is hunting for new parts and driving a W203 that is totally different options wise then 99% of them out there. I had people ask me how did I get a C Class with so many options? I forgot to add I had a ECU Tune from Eurocharged as well. $400 and it make the car feel more zippy lol. Fun times. As far as appreciation goes... Unless you have a C55 AMG mint condition and you sit on it for a while I do not see these W203's going up in value.

Mercedes W212 с W213

The electrical wiring in the
video was cut. After that, the electrical wiring connection in the
video is hidden in your hand and cannot be seen. May I know where the electrical wiring in the new place is connected?
