c240 driver door lock woes
Gents,
Fixed one little problem, and another pops up. Driver side (front) door lock is giving me problems. Not the pogo or bounce/switching problem that some others have had, the thing just won't move from the latched position. Specifically, when the car is unlocked from the FOB and opened from the outside, the locking mechanism drops back into the locked position between opening the door and closing it. I can actuate the inside door handle and with my other hand move it up and out of the way in order to close the door, but obviously something is wrong. 9/10 times when opening the door from inside the car, there is no problem whatsoever, though on rare occasion the problem still rears its head. Guessing there is just some mechanical linkage that is slipped out of position, but wondering if you all can help me pinpoint what is wrong. Thanks in advance!
edit: oh yeah, car is a w203 C240 wagon
