C1 option - opinions

I've been batting around the idea of getting the C1 power seat option on my Coupe (since I still have some time before the final order is submitted). I think it's a little on the expensive side, however I like the idea of the automatic tilt-down side mirror when parking (might be nice to keep the C7 17-inchers off of the curbs). I kind of feel that combining the C7 with the C1 (for a total of $2000) is about right for both, considering that the C7 package is worth more to me than $750.

What do you guys think - anyone else get the seats? Didn't wish you did? You C320 guys (MB-BOB) can pitch in as well since you got it standard.

I didn't order the C1 because I'm the only driver of this car. I dislike the manual adjustments...to the point where I really cant figure out why they put the seat back angle adjustment in such an inaccessable location. Considering I only adjust the seat (theoretically) once to my liking, I couldn't justify the expense just to get the cool tilting mirror - which I think should be standard on ALL Mercedes, if not required by law on all cars.

its definitly handy if there are two drivers and the reverse mirror tilt is nice. otherwise, i didn't really want it. i'd rather get some other options like C2, bose sound upgrade, etc.

in other words:
i concur with lynn who concurs with rick.

i agree with everyone else, i would spend the money elsewhere.
i think the c2 package is best and probably the most popular.

my gsr did not have power seats, and everytime i put something in the back seat, or take a long trip, recline the seat, take it in to service, or clean the inside, i curse acura for not offering power seats.

yes it seems like a small thing, but do you really want to mess with stupid clumbsy levers and knobs to adjust the seat.

spend the extra change and get the power seats, they have a good resale value, and cant be added aftermarket (without MAJOR work)

If you have different size people driving, get it, it's a pain to keep changing the wheel and seat to be comfortable. Wish I had it. But do get the C7.
