Great pic. Thanks.

Did you ever look into the CLK ones or did you go directly to the E-class ones? CLKs don't have the puddle light -> no extra bulb.

Looking for Installation procedure

Anybody kind enough to post the installation procedure for this mod? Looks like we have to remove the mirror first to get to the blinker assembly...TIA

sunman,

How much did it cost to replace W203 with W211 full mirror/blinker assembly including all switches?

TIA

W211 blinker installation in W203

This looks like a great idea (and cheap, for once) but I'm mystified as to how to get the lamps out of the mirror. From the pic of the back of the light it looks like they are held in by two fasteners, top and bottom. Is this correct?

big difference in looks...
w211 is clear and w203 is not...

in terms of lighting, not a huge difference...
w203 emits orange light like any other car...
w211 emits more yellowish light...
w211 lights are LEDs....

must have if u have bi-xenons...

dealer sells around $30 per side.
although lenses fit perfectly, it's not PnP.
you will have to do some rewiring which isn't too difficult....
since u r gettin' bi-xenons, u must get clear blinkers!

I see the difference, but personally, this mod is hardly noticeable except to the "insiders", so I'll skip it.

I got the instructions off mbklasse and I am still a little confused how to get the mirror cover off. It said something about a silver clip. are they talking about the silver hook connected to a spring? If so when installation is complete how do you reconnect the hook?
