Thoughts on aftermarket clutches vs O.E.M.

So it's finally time, after almost 150k miles, to replace the clutch on my 2003 c230k ss. While I could easily just replace it with an O.E.M. clutch, I could also get a Spec stage 3+ clutch for a similar price. I want something I can beat up on without worry of it wearing out. things like riding the clutch on a hill, and high rpm takeoffs and burnouts. But I've heard of the lax QC on spec clutches and was wondering if I should get it for around $700 or an OEM. If any of you have used the spec clutches, what are your thoughts vs OEM, or other high performance clutches, if available (I wasn't able to find any others)

If you want another bullet proof clutch that lasts 150K miles fit OE. They are also very well balanced to cut vibration.
