newby with 2 quick queations
hi all new member. I have an 06 c230 I got about a month ago. anyway I am putting in anav/DVD unit. I got the old one out and there are two cables with small square plastic ends/harnesses (but only 1 female connection inside not multiple wiresz. does anybody know what they are. I am assuming that one is for the antenna because my antana adapter fit, but what is the yellow one for? the boxes are 1 yellow and 1 black
also how do I know if I have h&k audio. I have an amp and center dash speaker, but the previous owner has a rca line converter installed and it is obviously attached to speaker wire.
I have searched and read many numerous threads.

These screen captures might help you. You will know if you have HK audio if you have the amp shown in the pic and the sub mounted on the parcel shelf. You are going to aftermarket HU, forget about the HK system, it uses fiber optics. You would also have to orange cables going to your factory HU which are the fibers.

I think you are referring to the two antenna cables. Note jrsmith's first diagram -- ZF and RF plugs. ZF is for wideband radio ... your stock head unit might have that as a special (useless) feature ... mine did. I just tied that cable off and didn't use it on the new head unit.
NOTE: Be sure to power the accessory plug in your car's wiring harness ... it is likely powering an antenna booster tucked away in the car's roof. Without that booster powered, your antenna will receive almost nothing but static.
