2005 M.B. C240 AWD... motor oil dripped from drivers side area under washer fluid are

I have a 2005 Mercedes Benz C240 4Matic.
So I found motor oil on the garage floor located under the drivers side area under where the washer fluid/power steering fluid fill container is.
So I checked the fluid level for the power steering. It was fine as the motor was ice cold. I did take a q-tip to check the color of the fluid. It was a turqoise. greenish color. The color of the oil I found on the ground was brown.
So i removed the lower plastic ufo protection gaurd under the car. I checked for oil leaks everywhere, everything bone dry. I checked the brake fluid level, checked the oil pan gasket, the oil filter housing, everything dry, no leaks.
The only area I found saturated with oil was the sway bar busing area. i cleaned the oil stain off and it has not come back.
Are the bushing packed with oil of some sort? I know it sounds silly but there were no leaks at all anywhere. However this rubber bushing that is pressed into the sway bar was saturated with oil, nothing above this area had any evidence of oil.
Im hoping someone experienced the same thing...
Could it be a suspension part I might have overlooked,.... thanks

As far as i know the sway bars doesn't contain oil or even if it has oil i doubt it'll leak ... The lower and upper control arms rubber bushings does contain oil and it could be your problem mine had oil all over the bushing so just had to change the whole arm.

Ok, I believe you are correct.
I wrote sway bar but it is the control arm bushings. I got the two screwed up. Interesting, you replaced the control arm... was it easier to change the whole thing? thanks for your quick response..

No worries and yes easy to change the whole thing and it'd be better to change both left and right at the same time.

Just wondering, did you replace the control arm bushings or did you replace the entire control arm? The part on my 4 matic looks like a y fishbone, 2 control arm connections and one ball joint... found one on ebay for $250 but wanted to know where else I can buy a replacement...
thanks

I have a 05 M.Benz C240 4 MATIC.
The drivers side lower control arm bushing closest to the front bumper is leaking oil. Where can I find the replacement bushing for my control arm?
The control arm I have is NOT the single arm with a bushing on one side and ball joint on the other. My control arm is a large looking wishbone, 2 control bushings hook up to area near motor and one part has the ball joint on it. So picture if you could a big Y, 2 connections for large bushings and one hook up for the ball joint to hook up to steering knuckle.
With this information are there replacement bushing that will fit my control arm?
Thank you.
