Car won't start Won't Crank no S/W and D/N/R indication
Hi,
I own a c270 2001 with 60k and it won't start. Everything else works fine, but I believe that it has something to do with the transmission. It randomly happens, and this makes it completeley unreliable. It doesn't even crank and the dashboard doesnt display the S/W and D/N/R indications. Sometimes it displays them and it will start with no problems. Already checked the fuses and everything ok, battery ok. The last time it started was when I took a screwdriver to unrelease park and moved the lever to N then to P. Already in the MB dealer and they said there isn't anything wrong with it. They told me they have to wait until it won't start to properly diagnose the problem. Please Help!!

Yes the key does turn. And when I manage to start it, it runs great! I'll pull out the shift assembly and see how it is. Can this be cleaned up, repaired?
