i have change my old thermostat with new. but today outside temp was 7 deg. and i was driving about 16km about 18 minutes to rise 80 deg. is it normal that?
Not normal a 7 deg C day...not normal for a 7 deg F day either. Either your new thermostat is stuck open/incorrectly installed or your coolant has a really high coolant to water ratio...
You have the same car than me. This car has 2 thermostats, you also need to change the small thermostat to speed up the progress.
Sidenote: Even with brand new OEM thermostats, the temperature does NOT rise fast, no matter -20c or -2c. Takes always about 10km / 10mins depending on the speed etc.
