Wheel fitment Lost In Space
Right now my stock wheels are 17 in 7.5 front and 8.5 rear. I am going to upgrade to an 18 in wheel but I was reccommeded to change my tire from a 45 aspect ratio to a 40. In terms of clearance can I keep same tire aspect ratio or do I have to reduce to accomdoate the new diameter.

07 C230, Front wheel 225/45 R17, Rear Wheels 245/40 R17

W203 & W204 3.0L 4matics & MR2 Supercharger
Front would become: 225/40R18
Rear would become : 245/35R18
