Anyone have a link to the store that sells the wood shifter knob for the C-class sedan? It was posted about a year ago. I did a search through old messages and could not find it.

Sorry, I don't have the link, but someone did post the info on the old board for the auto trans version. I'm pretty sure they also posted a picture of it. Here's a suggestion: go to the "post picture" page and click on the option to see the list of all current pics. You might be able to figure out which one it is by the picture name. I've done this on occasion when I couldn't find the original thread item.
Also, I've wanted to know whether anyone has found any info about a wood shifter for the manual trans. I'm a little skeptical because of the design of the shifter. Unlike the auto unit, the knob doesn't have a "top" part where the wood part of the knob would connect. It appears that the boot material slips over the lever, and is one unit. What I mean is that there's no chrome division between the upper and lower part of the manual shifter like there is on the auto unit.

Precision Auto Designs at www.precisionauto.com used to have a nice selection. They have been taken over by performance products which appears to have the same selection now.
