Changed Nokia LEds to Orange now!!!
I changed the White LED on my Nokia Phone to Orange to match the interior of the car. It looks great and works great. I will post pictures later. It is not easy at all to do this and not recommended for the weak at heart. It is a bit darker orange than I anticipated but still ok. Something like the BMW interior Orange.

the kit works fine with the audio 10 and can't remember price. I think it's around 600-700 bucks. Depends if you get the Teleaid compensator or not. I purchased a seperate antenna amplifier as well which should come in soon. I will install it and post results. I was not happy with the signal strength. A company in Canada makes it and it sounds promising. It was around 230 bucks for the amplifier.

mine was 8890 so it had the white LED already. Now I have a 6100 the color phone. I'm gonna get new one once the contract ends next month. It's a good thing you can keep your number now.

Ihave done the earlier 6xxx and 8xxx phones before but this 6210 and 6310 are the hardest I have done. They have too many components in the way. YOu have to have a very small soldiering tip.

BUT I do find the 8890 has to be the best Nokia ever available in the states even tho it only had white LED.

yeah they have all kinds of phones out there. We only get the "simple" ones in the states. If you go to Japan, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. Choosing a phone over there is like a kid choosing candy in a candy store.
