Alternatorn Battery SRS ESP
MB 2004 Comp. W203. This is a Google translation.
I've changed the alternator and battery.
-The battery in the rest 13,4V.
-at start 12.5V.
- shortly after> 18V. On Disply red Alternator,Battery problem.
- Idle 13.4V.
-1500rpm 14.3V.
-After 3 ... 4 minutes remain> 18V at any second.
- Since there seems to come more.
During all the time warned of the brake lights do not work. Both right and left. other codes: ESP, SRS, and BAS have occurred.
some suggestions to the problem?
it may be the alternator is wrong even if it is new?

I'm also interested in what is going on here as I've had something similar to this occur once or twice.
I couldn't imagine that the esp/abs, srs, brake lights, and alternator/battery warnings are directly related unless a CAN-BUS or the front SAM are malfunctioning. But I am unsure of how exactly to test the health of either of those units.
In my case, I also had a "display faulty - visit workshop" message.
Nilserikp: Did this occur in extreme rain or very hot weather?

at the first opportunity (before replacing the alternator), it was like that 25 degrees.
also had problems with the roof, windows.
Back in Sweden, I have made a YouTube film as showing the problem. there is interest I can give the link.

Sounds like you voltage regulator is no god. esp/abs could just need reset from the battery being disconnected.
