Acceleration limiter
Hi, Im new here and have only had my w203 2001 C220 about 8 weeks. I've noticed thought that after hard accerleration from stand still a yellow warning triangle will flash on my computer display and the car will 'cut' out the power/revs and force normal driving/acceleration speed. Is there anyway of turning this off? its not a big deal, just kinda annoying on junctions and round-abouts for someone with a heavey foot!

Hi everyone, thanks for the replies, the tyre pressure is good as i had to inflate one and done the rest while i was at it. Also the ESP is of, i almost never have it on. Its a flashing yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it that goes away after about 3 flashes if that helps anyone narrow it down.

Yes. .. flashing is warning you that you loosing traction at the rear. That is how it's designed to function. No way around it. Don't accelerate so hard!

How is the ESP off and the triangle goes away? When it's off the triangle is constantly illuminated. Also there is a special test mode that disables all safety systems, including abs as far as I remember. But that's not what you would use in normal driving.
