Can I re-program a used ignition switch and key
I was told that the communication is not going through ign. switch and that it's been corrupted. Going through a dealer makes repair of the problem pricey. Also may end up needing ECM and front fuse relay(SAM) and overall, with programming, the repair is as much as the car value('02 C240).
Can I use good salvaged parts and pull off the original Immobilizer chip and solder it onto the salvaged replacement board?
If programming is possible, what steps do I need to do to used parts?
