ordered auxillary lock for trunk today

ordered auxillary lock for trunk today
I just ordered a auxillary lock today for the trunk. It is not offered on the american C classes. Basically, it secures the trunk better. It consists of 2 additional latches instead of just one that the company sends the cars with. The 2 fit on either side of the current one. There will be a total of 3 latches securing the trunk then. I will post pictures in a few days. I should have it next week.

don't live in a rough neighboor hood but I have several thousand dollars of equipment in there usually so I feel better. The way I see it is 80 bucks is worth the extra protection. If any of you guys have expensive audio setups then you should consider this as well.

you can use the radio functions only then. It's most helpful with the phone kit though. It works with all Merecedes Phone kits including the v60 as well and the new UHI coming out.

It required a Different Deck Lid..(TRUNK) for the extra locks
and a Different Striker panel on the body for the Extra Latches
Looked like a Armor Car Latch assy!
I Wanted to do my Wagon..But When I saw What it took ..I Passed..

On the c class, all the holes are already premade from factory and does not require a change in deck lid. YOu do have to cut squares out for the latches themselves with a knife. I will post pictures once I'm done installing it.
