Ashtray bulb

Just an FYI. I happened to have my ashtray out completely and
decided to take the time to find the correct bulb.
It's N000000001061 or search for it without the N.
I paid like $2.50 at the dealership, and lo and behold, it also lights up
the climate control panel! Wow, I'd forgotten what that was even like.

It's the little things on a Mercedes that make them so special, and as our cars get older, often the little things go by the wayside.
I have to say, that's the best $2.50 I've ever spend on my car.

Any chance that can replaced with a LED version?

That would be very nice since incandescent has limited lifespan.
But it's tied to dimmer, so.....hmmmm......
With all my exhaust leak issues resolved, smog passed,
self dimming mirror replaced and functional again,
shifter replaced (no more limp mode P0705)
washers in sunroof (no more grrrrrrinding)
life in the 203 is wonderful again. Running smooth and nice.
Ashtray bulb was just icing on the cake.

Time to reinstall the ASP pulley.
