Add-on Exhaust tips

Are they just for looks? And if anyone has them are they worth the investment? Thanks,
Dave

From the pictures I've seen around the forum, they look very clean on the car. The decision should probably based on how much value you're putting on the external style. But as you suspected, they're for looks only (tips), so don't expect a roar when you rev your car. :p

They're nice from the back, but from the rear 3/4 angle you can see that it's disconnected. You may not find that very appealing.

angle...

from any angle except the direct rear view, you can definitely tell that these are tips. I get comments on them, but like everyone else said, they look cheap once you get around the car. I would go for an exhaust system. I'm probably going to do all of that later. Tips are a good means of getting good looks in the mean time. Go for it!

get'em if you plan on getting a bodykit add-on, that way you won't see there's no muffler.

lol. i know. that is why i think it is a bad idea to waste $100+ on getting them. getting a new muffler is more, but at least you also have a nice smooth rumble as well.

Many Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies. Unfortunately where I am there arent many places that know let alone supply aftermarket parts for Merc's

Fortunately I am off to Indonesia this week where its parts galore (and 80% of my parts come from) so if you guys want something let me know we can work something out.
