trans fluid and pan drop question

So I will be doing a pan drop on the trans to replaced the conductor plate and the 13 pin connector, and I was wondering if anyone knew the amount of ATF is lost, and how much i will need, also shell 134 is what I will be getting and this is correct for the 722.6 trans?

its a 01 c240

When I dropped my pan last winter EXACTLY 4 quarts came out. I measured it. Would you mind taking some pictures of your DIY of your conductor plate change?? I know a lot of people will really appreciate it, because there is not a DIY that has been done?

What has prompted you to do the plate change? I had a some delayed upshifting last winter, and I used seafoam transtune and problem completely solved. Also dropped pan, changed filter, and 13 pin connector. Shifting is fantastic now!

its hanging in gear not upshifting or really downshifting all that well.
I'll try to get as many pics as I can but I also want to get it done ASAP.

PS: Are you the bone head over at Ben's Wurld that just drained his transmission fluid and then added the transmission fluid back to the crankcase and could not understand why the transmission would not shift!!
umm what? Ive been working as a tech for years and no i'm not that "bone head"......

Measure it.
And then check the level when you are done, after you drive it
a little and warm it up.

ecactly 4 quarts, not five, or whatever precise amount is drained. Overfilling an entire quart could literally make you transmission explode- by extra fluid pushing through dipstick or seals. I made this mistake on my prior car and overfilled. Was going about 80mph and fluid shot out of dipstick and spewed into exhaust and caused giant smoke bloom.
