trans fluid and pan drop question
its a 01 c240
What has prompted you to do the plate change? I had a some delayed upshifting last winter, and I used seafoam transtune and problem completely solved. Also dropped pan, changed filter, and 13 pin connector. Shifting is fantastic now!

I'll try to get as many pics as I can but I also want to get it done ASAP.
PS: Are you the bone head over at Ben's Wurld that just drained his transmission fluid and then added the transmission fluid back to the crankcase and could not understand why the transmission would not shift!!





BTW- People on this forum have done that too.....
Yeah about 4 quarts.
5 to be sure.
Measure it.
And then check the level when you are done, after you drive it
a little and warm it up.
